I made a gas pedal today.

My stuff is complicated so people recognize I get my stuff from Speedway.

Man that is nice!!! I for one, would not suspect it cam from Speedway--its teo nicely crafted. Not the typical import junk they're starting to sell. I had to make my own (but not nearly as nice as yours) when the one I bought bent the first day I got the '27 on the road. Now, I have a lead foot, but this thing was mangled. No chance that will happen with yours :thumb:

That is a really nice job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:kiltdance:

Thought that was the beginnings of a wheelie strut. No offense, I'm not feeling the skate wheel. looks like a potential slip problem. Perhaps, instead, a hinged spoon affair. No?

John

Nothing less than I would expect from you.
Different but in a great way. Bet you got that roller pegged from turning so your foot just glides over the curved surface.
ALWAYS like stuff that breaks away from the normal if it works.

The workmanship you display is very good. But I wonder, if that much effort is in the gas pedal, what kind of effort is in the rest of the car? I have looked in the galleries and have found nothing but pictures of your coupe. Are there pictures of your roadster build as well and would you share them with us?

John

Thanks for all the compliments lads. I pondered the roller thing vs. a spoon and decided to try the roller. I can change it if needed.

John, I don't any pictures in the gallery and I don't have a couple..... wish I did.

Sweet!!! :thumb:

Sorry Flap, I confused you with Fart. Please post some pictures, I am sure they will be interesting.

John

Flap & Fart, like Burns & Allen.

John, that's hilarious..... Burns and Allen.

"Say good night Gracie."

"Good night Gracie."

Some pictures one of these days. Right now there isn't really one area of the project that is complete - parts laying everywhere.
