Ghost Flames

I want to put some ghost flames on the side of the bucket. Is there a site where these can be ordered as a decal or is it bets to have them painted on? If painted what type of paint shop do I look for?

have a good painter do it. if possible look at some he's done. check as many painters as you can find. lots of paint people out there that do a great job on body color but not so good on graphics.

Good advise Ron.

Ghost flames are one of the harder things to paint I don't think you can get them in decals.

"""I agree with Ron""" ,but, if you are curious as to how they're done, there are quite a few youtube videos on different kinds of painting procedures.

ghost flames are easy. Just tint some clear. You can make it as lighter or as darker as you want it. You can fade the pattern by cutting the tinted clear 50% with plain clear. Paint the first 1/4 of the flames with the darkest tinted clear you want. Then if you have 4oz of tinted clear left, add 4oz of clear. Spray the first 1/2 of the flames. Cut that 50% with clear (each cut it gets lighter and lighter). Spray the rear 3/4's of the flames. Cut the remaining 50% with clear and spray the last. Then several layers of just clear. You will need to practice and make a gradual fade. You do not want stops in the fade pattern. You can spray from back to front, you can hold the gun at different angles, and you can move the gun away from the surface for different effects. Just practice on something else first. Ghost flames are not hard. You can also add pearlescents or metallic flakes if ya want to.
