Can I run the B+ terminal of the alt to any B+,like the ignition switch, I have a 10ga running from the battery to the switch I can't run to the starter because of second solinoid
That would work, but it's not ideal (as you probably already know).
That wire not only carries the load of the various circuits in the car, but also carries the charging load to the battery. After startup, you could have a lot of amps going through that one 10 guage wire and through the stud on the switch. Not a problem when you have seperate circuits
It would be better if you could run your alternator wire straight to the battery..
If you can't do it any other way, I would upsize the wire from the switch to the battery. At least an 8 guage or a 6 would be better.
You should run your alt. output wire to the battery cable terminal connection. If you are using a 3-wire alt., the voltage sense wire should also run to that terminal.
