Finally after running to the speed shop and all the auto parts stores all last week, I got to fire it up. Problem was, I had to get the car to where it could run for at least 20 minutes for cam break in without overheating. The radiator had to be done, the trans cooler had to be hooked up, the battery and cables needed to be mounted up under the dash, the valves and timing needed to be adjusted as it ran. Carb I rebuilt decided not to take fuel, so I had to run and get a new holley. With the open headers, we had to listen to the rockers with a heater hose to detect the clicking we needed to hear for valve adjustment.
