Great to be back

Well after about 6 weeks on the road working the flood areas in Manitoba, I'm finally back home to take a breather....hopefully today's downpours don't bring the rivers up again. When they starting building a clay dike on the river at the end of our street in early April, I emptied out the basement of all my worldly possessions: t-bucket parts, engine parts, golf clubs, fishing gear, and I even through in a few of my wife's items. Now all of my bucket project stuff is at our warehouse high and dry and it's time to start bring it all back. First thing on the list will be to take the 283 in for boring. And I just wanted to say hi to everyone too.

Nice everything got saved.Glad your back. Missed a few things nothing to exciting ither than site was alomost shut down due to lack of funds. Had some awesome sponsors and donators step up to the plate to save it.:kiltdance:

I've never had water in the basement and I couldn't imagine the mess that would happen. There was no way I was goint to carry a refrigerator, freezer and couches upstairs...I was too wasted by that point.

The water is bad enough but think of the silt.I lived in the SanFernando Valley in Calif. In 1988-89 we had a huge mud slide in the Malibu hills and i went to a house(ilegal break in i guess)no doors or windows left.Anyway i saw a reel-to-reel recorder next a bunch of movie scripts. And i couldnt budge it it was so packed with mud.
