Guages

Just a note about guages, I used to use that small tube to my vacuum guage, soooo slow in acting, you may as well not have one, change to a 1/4" tube and fittings, WOW! you can see everything that is going on with your engine, everything... Volt Guage tells a much better story.. Water Temp is a pretty needed guage, I do use a fuel guage now all the time also, an RPM guage is really only needed in real high RPM engines, run at full pedal... But a real good trans will tell you when to shift, so not really needed... after all this is supposed to be a FUN cruiser, not a RACE car, no need to race, as any street car, can not compete with a setup T Bucket... (from a dead stop) never give a Big block a running chance or start...
