Today is the last day of the worst year I've ever experienced. Between work uncertainty, the damn virus and all it brought, and the sudden passing of my Mother just after Thanksgiving (NOT virus related), I'm sure that '21 will be better.

Choppedtop, you’re right. It’s a mature night. In my 30’s I thought I had to be somewhere on New Year’s Eve. Now., a lot of years later, I find the best place to be is on the couch at home. I’ll be up at midnight but probably just to go pee!

The Day 1 (New Year's Day) Run in Tucson drew well over 50 cars. Lots of cars from the 30's and 40's, maybe 10 T-buckets. The weather was 65-70 degrees and sunny, (not a very long drive from Artesia). Most people arrived about an hour before the 11:00 AM starting time to be able to socialize (with masks) and look at all the cars. The run itself was about 1 1/2 hours of driving time, ending up in a large shopping center with plenty of fast food or sit down restaurants for lunch.
