I was wondering if anyone here used a heater in their T for driving in the winter?
I am that guy! I HATE the cold, If it's not at least seventy degrees, I don't like to go outside. I was born and raised for sixty-two years in northeast Ohio and upon retirement I headed to Florida! I finished my T in Florida and installed a heater. I've not regretted one minute on that decision. Call me a chicken or whatever but I'm WARM!

I won't call you a chicken, Jim. My BP meds thin my blood to a point where I start looking for a pair of gloves, if the temperature drops below 50°. A guy was griping about the heat and humidity at work, one night last week. I reminded him of the week we spent, outside, removing snow in -40° wind chill temperatures. I'm not a big fan of either temperature extreme, but if have my druthers, I'll take the heat every last time.

Heated seat inserts are nice too.
Atwoods here in Oklahoma sells one that only draws 3 amps. Wife has one that she claims really helps.

What and how did you put a heater in your T?
I just checked, and it looks like Atwoods does't carry them any longer. I also checked Walmart.com. They have several different kinds.

I got my heater form Summit. It is a 24,000BTU model with a three speed fan. The first picture is looking up under the dash.
This is taken at dash level and you can hardly see the unit.
When seated it is virtually invisible.
Most people never notice the hoses and are quite surprised to find out that I have a heater.
