Hello from North Cackalacky

I've been lurking for some time now, but as I get more serious about the prospect of buying/building a T, I thought it would be good to register and introduce myself.

I've never owned a muscle car, but always wanted one. The T-Bucket intrigues me. It's almost like a tease, "Yea, I've got a vertical windshield and I'm a throwback to the early days of production cars, but I'll smoke you like there's no tomorrow, so don't mess with me."

My goal would be to have a 4 seater. I've seen it called a Touring T. Not many examples for sale, compared to the traditional 2 seaters, which has pushed me toward a build. Although I am plenty mechanically inclined, I don't have as much time as it takes to do a ground up build, so I'm looking for a project that I can complete.

Anyway, look forward to meeting everyone through the process and hopefully meeting some of you at shows.

Welcome to the site! check out Jim, from Wintec Fabfication, he's a sponsor here.
He has a 4 seater T, very sharp looking.

Do not know where it is, North Cackalacky, but sounds interesting. Welcome from Easter PA

Welcome from Northern Illinois Rooster, had I know 45 years ago when I originally built my bucket that I would eventually have 5 grandchildren I would have built a tub, LOL.

Welcome from New Hampshire. I haven't seen many touring Ts but the ones I have, interest me as well. Maybe just because they're different and rare.

North Cackalacky is hick for North Carolina. Specifically, in my case, Kannapolis, in ear shot of Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Thanks for the warm welcomes.

Welcome from Oklahoma! I was stationed at Ft. Bragg (Fayetteville, NC) for about 15 years... off and on from 1985 until I retired from there in 2008. Beautiful country!
