Hello from Pine Island

I'm new to "T"s and was wondering why all "t"s seem to have auto transmissions. Is there a reason why stick shifts aren't used?

ROOM! There is very little room for a stick shift. Not to say that there are not some out there though.

This is the second question today on this subject, the clutch pedal and linkage, plus the shifter just takes up a lot of room and is a real problem in stop and go trafick if you have a pasenger it realy gets crowded. I know some guys that have a stick but it takes a lot of engineering... Francis
