Sorry I haven't been around much, things have been a little strange for me. I spend a lot of time sick. I found out that I have COPD caused by smoking and welding. Since then I have become withdrawn and depressed. I have quit smoking, and I don't weld at work anymore.

I have been lurking off and on, there are a lot of new people here, Welcome. And there are a lot of cars being built My car is just sitting in the garage getting buried.

Thanks for the message Ron, it was a wake up call telling me to get my butt back here and do my job. Now I need to go thru 1200+ new posts and see how things are going.

Thanks all. I'm just learning to breathe again, and trying not to get sick. I have a two week vacation planned for the first half of July, a bike ride to Texas. :biggrin: The wife and I are both riding our bikes. This trip is to see if I can set up everything to move there in Nov. Because of my health problems, I'm going to pull an early retirement Oct 30. I can't afford to pull the plug because of the economy, but I've decided my health is more important. I already have 10 acres outside of Huntsville and just need to find a cheap mobilehome till I can build a house.

I have friend who built one those kit shop's 24x30 they set it up as a apartment until he built their house , now he has a shop and a nice kitchen with a bar in the back corner ,, has a full bedroom and bath up above that ,

Reading on of Fred's recent posts, getting in Becky and going for a ride would probably go a long way towards helping put a smile back on your face. My prayers are with you and your family.
