Hi
New to forum
How do you identify what kind of bucket you have
I bought a used bucket 23 T and the guy said it was a total performance
the rear frame rails stop after they kick up it ends
on the right side there is a serial number / data tag
the tag reads T then 6 numbers
does this identify it ?????
thanks
frank

Because there were and are so many people popping out glass T bodies it is really hard to tell one from the other. There are some distinctive things that can clue you though, such as the shape of the dash, the way the bed is molded or not molded to the body, and things like that. It seems every T body out there is a "Total Performance" because people feel that gives some value and legitimacy to that body.

A few years ago I bought a body off of Ebay and the guy swore it was a TP, even when I questioned him in an email. I bought it and it wasn't, but was actually a Speedway, which was even better IMO because it is a much heavier layup than my Sons true TP body.

Shoot us lots of pictures and we will try to help you out.

some of the fiberglass stuff I have bought has had a business card laminated under the glass visible from the inside.

Welcome to the forum bigfrank330, like Don said post some pictures.

Welcome My body people here have seen it in person and cannot tell who made it. But some bodies have tell tale clues. Post some pics .
