Hi guys.

I picked up a T body and frame, so I plan on building a motorcycle powered cycle car. Honda clones are cheap, they even got a reverse gear, should be a fun beast.

Anyhow I'm here to check out what others have done, even if I'm going in an odd direction.

Welcome from St Louis! Sounds like a fascinating project. Will there be a chain-drive system on the finished car?

(PS - This car was at the NTBA Nationals in Indianapolis in 2016.)

Welcome, and that sounds like an awesome project!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Yes, I intend the final version to be chain drive. Years ago I saw an original (motorcycle powered, front engined and RWD) cycle car racer at a show and fell in love with its weirdness. Drive chains, laker pipes, who could resist a teens era racer? I may even narrow mine a bit to make it a one passenger.

Honestly, I'll just be happy to hit 40mph. My goal is to be able to have the wind in my face and have fun when I go into town to grab a six pack of beer.
