I have a pal who lives in Kill Devil, NC. He and his girl friend have been though this before and spent a ton of money restoring their home. He even opened a small garden center this spring.

I don't know about their insurance situation and frankly, that's none of my business.

I thought about calling, but why? It would only delay their decisions.

Kinda nerve racking waiting. At least it's not winter with a storm coming.
Sounds like the folks in North Carolina are getting it.
My bucket body is in pieces (being de-rusted) and the parts are sitting inside multiple vehicles (no garage) so they shouldn't blow away.
The chassis is covered over.
Nature.. real power.
