DCMJ, no need to retreat anywhere. Neutrality isn't a requirement, just keeping a civil tongue is all I ask. All in all, it's really not that tough to understand. Especially when you consider onlyseven eight people have been escorted to the door in the last six years. So don't be thinking you need to retreat.
I generally don't highlight the stupidity that occurs behind the scenes around here, but I want everyone to see this -
At 9:09 PM Eastern, on Friday, Fred wished us 'happy trails'. See Post #14, above.
At 6:19 PM Eastern, yesterday, he used the Contact Us form to tell me I had to ban him (he still thinks he's dictating policy around here, I guess
). He also told me when he left here, he left for good. Huh??? If he left here, allegedly 'for good', on Friday, what's he doing back, 21 hours later?
At 9:12 PM Eastern, yesterday (not even 3 hours later), he was back again, telling me to ban him 'NOW'. For someone who said he was out of here for good, he sure keeps coming back around, a lot. And still dictating policy to me, I see. See what I meant about him being pwned? He says he's gone for good, but the truth shows he can't manage to pull himself away from this 'silly and redundant' site.
At 9:19 PM Eastern, yesterday (7 minutes? Seriously??), he was back again. I can see Fred's obviously a man of his word.
This time, he was telling me how I had to post something for him. I guess maybe I'm the one who lost the plot. Can someone please explain, exactly when did I become Fred's houseboy? And Fred was telling me that I'm the idiot, if you can imagine.
After finding all of Fred's nasty e-mails, this morning, at 5:28 AM Eastern I've added a filter to the POP3 server, which will sinkhole all future messages coming from his e-mail address. I restricted his forum account because I was fed up with his attitude, so there's no reason I should have to endure it in e-mail messages. Copies of his expletive-laden messages have been forwarded to the appropriate parties. And I'm going to move forward with banning his account, since he's seems to have finally figured out posting here was only making him look the numpty.
Wait! I almost forgot. Fred, you managed to get one thing partially right. I am an SOB, but it doesn't stop there. I am a very well-educated, a very cautious, a very well-protected and a very nasty SOB. Have I mentioned the last time I had to deal with them, that wireless phone company of yours was taking a very dim view of customers using their services to send expletives to others? OOOOPS, you didn't think about that either, did you? Gang wary, Fred, Hotmail just might be looking over your shoulder, as well. Got any more messages to send me, I'll be more than happy to file complaints with those providers, too. It always pays to know the rules of the game, before you try to start playing. Who's doing that twist and shout now, Fred?
