I want to start building my t this weekend I have to body motor and suspension and all the steel i need to pull it off. I don't have a clue wher to start! I know that I'm going to build it out of 2x3x3/16. I bought a spring behiend axlw from speedway with a 6 inch drop. Im going to use a 302 and auto. The body is a cromwell molding company, I know its a cheap body but its my first. The big ? i have is how long and what angle are the kicks I'm going to use a 30 inch box for a little more room. Help please! Thanks so much I have enjoyed the forum so far just signed up today.

I just built my frame and its for a 20" box. Overall length is 113.5" and roughly will be 110" wheelbase (i dont have the frame back yet so not exactly sure on wheelbase). The width is 26" ......................................

(my kickup is at more of an angle than usual to help with room for seating down lower. The angle is the angle of the back of the body on mine)

The body will sit flush with the bottom of the frame so its channeled so you cant see the frame rails.

i have a build thread if you need to see it also.

Hi Joshuatronick! I'm in Norman and have built a bunch of these cars. If you want, we can meet up for a lunch and bench race a bit to get started. You going to Duncan this weekend?

Big swap meet. I'm going Thurs & Fri. I think bad weather is coming in Sat. You may find some goodies there. Do you need anything? I can keep an eye out. I'll PM my phone number. John
