Hi I am new to Buckets but not to hot rodding. I am looking at a new unfinished project to buy.

All parts are brand new

Complete MSD system
It has a chromed jag rear
chrome 4 link
All the suspension parts are chrome.
Chrome headers with side tubes.
CCR long body with bed (painted plain jane)
Chrome tranverse leaf set-up in front
Blown aluminum headed BBC 469
All hard parts are included,
Radiator, 32 grill, billet tilt coluum, chrome vega box.
Warrior rims all 4 with Mickeys
Wildwood brakes.
Alot of it is mocked up/semi put together.
Nice looking frame prolly CCR.
Digital gauges
Complete black vinyl upolstery kit
Lights all good looking quality stuff. etc
All the work that has been done is well done, not hacked. Most of it anyway is pretty straight forward bolt on stuff for the most part.

Any idea what a value is on somthing like this. Not taking into consideration bad economy. So on a good day whats it all worth roughly.
10k 15k 20k more?

Thanks for any input

Welcome: I think 10k area is too much for what you're saying. There are $8,000 Ts out there now. We sure as heck don't build them for resale, do we?

I would think that you should buy that for between 8 and 10 thousand about anywhere...........

Can you guys really find something like this for $8000? Now this is assuming that the parts are in good condition, but the chrome alone could run you 5 grand, the engine another 5 easy and we all know what a body and frame cost. The small parts (gauges, column, radiator, steering box) and the other stuff listed and I would think that at 10 grand you would have a steal!! A chromed Jag rear is something to behold in a T, but again not cheap. Again this is saying the parts are good and the craftsmanship worthy. Some pictures would confirm this.

Re: If you just look at his list of parts and not take

labor itto account then the rest is just parts. This is an unfinished bucket. Your right the rearend is worth a bunch but you don't know how the thing was built at all. The internet has dropped the prices a bunch.

On the NTBA web site there is a real nice C Cab T Bucket I have seen in person for sale at 6900 bucks today.

A few photos may change my mind a little...........

I had some posting problems and some other post's surfaced after I did some others. I think you are right on with your statment. The motor alone is a 10 k thing to build, jag stuff is 4 to 8k. Of course 2nd hand parts get .50 cents on the dollar on a good day, so ya still have almost 10k in just those parts. Keep the comments going tho it is good info from everyones point of vue... I have looked pretty hard and see zip with all this stuff for 10k. There is always the the "Deal" somewhere but very rare and generaly BS...
