Just wondering

This is a question I've been trying to figure out and was wondering if I could have your input. I have the following projects coming up and am wondering if there is a correct order that needs to be followed. I need to install the steering box and column, master cylinder and dash. I can see that the placement of each of these could affect the next. Also how do I figure out the rough measurement of the steering column needed. Thank you for the help and advice.

Do the box, master and dash first. Also the seat base and if you're going to have a toeboard next. Save the column length till last.

Keep in mind that you want the seat to be really comfy, or else you won't drive it much. Just mock everything and make sure you like it before you finalize it all. To figure the column location tack weld your steering box mount and the use a cardboard steering wheel and a dowel of some kind.
