Went to the Lonestar Roundup with a friend that has a C-Cab. My battery failed when I went to start it at Bob's house to move it around by the garage. Bought another Odyssey PC680 battery and I was back in business.
Now Bob is another story !!! He tried to follow up after my blip of the throttle leaving the restaurant after dinner Thursday. He broke the driveshaft, bent the rear suspension rods and broke both coil over shocks. The next day while he was getting help he fainted and they called 911. He is still in the hospital and will be getting a replacement heart valve. The car still sits in the parking lot in Hutto Texas.
He has accused me of not being much of a friend, since I left him at the garage and headed for home about an hour before he fainted, LOL. All in a good way, just giving me a hard time!!!
BTW, I drove 7 hours with only 2 stops for gas. Practicing for my trip to Prescott Arizona to the NTBA Nationals in June, just a 14 hour drive time. There are typically over a 100 TBuckets at the Nationals.
I was getting 19.1 mpg at 65 mph and bucking a 35 mph head wind on the way to Bob's house.
Anyway here are some pics from the FREE BEER, MUSIC and BBQ.
