I just picked up two new rear 31X18.50-15 tires to replace my N-50-15's, now I need two 15X14 Aspen Slot Wheels on a 5X4.75. I've looked at a lot of internet sites but have not found anything. Anyone got a suggestion?

Thanks,
John

I have a pair of 15 x 12 Ansen Sprints and have been searching for 15x14 pair for a long time.

Let me ammend that, a pair of AFFORDABLE 15x14 rims.

I found 2 at the Web Site Putz gave me, they do have the two rims I want but are asking $1100 plus shipping. I now understand why you said "AFFORDABLE". I'll just keep looking around or I'll sell the tires and stay with my N50-15's I have now.

Nowadays. Anything American Racing makes over 15x10 is considered a custom wheel and are made when ordered thus the high price. I wanted a pair of the AR Hopsters in 15x14 and they wanted close to $1200 for the pair.

NOTE: Notice the sizes listed? Those are their standard (non-custom) wheels.

This is why I went to the Smoothies that I have now for when I went 'shopping' I decided my money would be worth more in fun than looks. Lots of road rash and salt rust from the snowy roads this winter.

John

O.K. G, ya drove me to actually think about this exchange rate thing. Using their calculator, at todays rates, USD 1.00 to the BP 1.6288, let us say that the total price for the creation of those rear beauties was 2300.00 BP, well, that would be $3746.25. Not enough? Let us use 2400.00 BP = $3909.13. (Sigh) then let us just round up to an even 2500.00 BP, which would be a trifling $4072.01. Only twixt $1873.13 to $2036.00 per wheel.

Please Gerry, you have to tell me, how did you get GOD to work so inexpensively?

John

P.S. Thanks for the thoroughly depressing tid bit about the American job market. You could have thrown in a piece about American obesity rates as well to put me over the edge.

P.P.S. What wrath? Just pointed remarks.

Sorry John. No idea what BTTT means.
