Does anyone know where you can get
a steel or fiberglass "lovered" hood
(small 3" "Hot Rod" louvers on top)
for a T bucket!

let me know,
Johnny!

The only company I know of that makes any kind of a hood for a T is Spirit and they use a cowl induction style hood.

Evening, GT63!
Thanks for the link, Here are
a couple of pictures I took at
a show a few weeks back, these
2 T's both have a solid metal hood
with 4 or 5 rows of 3" louvers! Man
they look great, I hope I can find
some one out there that makes one
or sells a one piece metal hood that
I can get louvered!

Thanks,
Johnny!

This is what I call a tall T Most T's here are open wheel and open motor.

Those are '26-'27 model Year T's. You might find a hood for that year at Snyder's.

Morning, Putz!
I know the pic's are of tall T's,
I'm just looking at the hoods!
Mine's finderless also....

Hey, GT63!
I'll go check them out!

Thanks,
Johnny!

if you want that one piece hood, build it your self. anything you buy will have to be fitted. by the time you do that, you have pretty much rebuilt it anyway. make a pattern from poster cardboard and lay it out on a sheet of 18ga cold rolled or slightly thicker aluminum. use any thing with a 6" to 12" diameter to form the curves. i use 1/4" round rod to make formers front and rear. barrel slide locks work good for holdin in place if you're not running sides.

I found a place to get a plain hood top
and there's a guy in Austin that said
he would louver it with 4 rows of 3"
louvs. for $100??? :D

Thanks,
Johnny!

i think sachse rod shop down the street from me does louvers also--im thinking for about a buck a louver

the # is 800-495-3904 or 972-495-1557

A buck a punch is cheap. They charge anywhere from a buck and a half to 2 bucks around here.
