Thanks

Yes thats all I want up through the floor.. But dont you have to also cut an access hatch to fill it ?

Measure, measure , measure, cut patterns, whatever works best for you , oh yeah, MEASURE!!!

Rockn, the best way to to determine were this will land is to install the body, mark on the top of the frame where the front of the body/firewall is. Then remove the body, measure the thickness of your bodies firewall..add for any wood or bracing you may put in behind that plus about 1/2" for jute and carpet. Now put a new mark on the frame that will represent the furthest point that the pedal can travel. Clamp the m/c mount bracket onto the frame; try starting with the pedal pivot back 4 1/2" back from your mark.. , the bolts holding the cylinder on need to be at least 3 1/2" down from the top of the frame rail, so the top of the cylinder is clear of the floor.., Install the pedal arm, pushrod and master cylinder onto the bracket.. push the pedal down untill it bottoms out and check to see that the pedal does not cross your mark on the top of the rail... now adjust the position of the bracket if needed, once it's correct..remove the cylinder and tack the bracket in place...
Re-assemble the master cylinder... take some thick pattern paper or thin wood and mount that to the frame with an approximate (larger) hole around the pedal.., fine tune the pattern using tape and trimming untill everything clears and the pedal travels freely,..now mark from under the car, the opening needed for filling the reservoirs (if your ready, and the motor and trans and shifter is installed, now is the time to make a cut-out for the shifter hole also, if not save the pattern for later). Once you're sure everything is correct..transfer the pattern to the underside (and the drivers-side) of your floorboard and do the cut-outs. We use a 1" hole saw in three locations for the pedal arm and a 4" hole saw in two locatoins for the reservoir access.. we use a sheet metal cover to go over the m/c.

Good luck,

Thanks for help guy's.. I just was not sure,, When I marked where I thought it should be it was like in the picture ,,,way out in the middle of the floor I thought I was doing something really wrong.

I measured from the body mount holes. Since I knew were on the frame the mounts were, and the holes in the body. Made things much easier. That gave me the hole for the pedal.

For the MC, I mounted the body, then got under it with a marker and drew a line around it.
