Maybe there's hope

For the first time in 2 or 3 weeks, I realize I am actually smiling.

I submitted an online application to one of the national auto parts chains, who has just opened a store here in town. And within 4 hours, the store manager was on the phone, asking if I could come in to talk with him and the district supervisor on Friday morning. I think I finally found someone who recognized my years of parts experience was an asset. At least I hope I have. He described the job to me and explained why he felt I was the right person for the job. All I could do is agree with him.

For those so inclined, I covet your prayers. For everyone else, if you could just keep a good thought for me...

Lets see...an hour drive isn't too far a away to go to an auto parts store where I can get some real help...and maybe someone who doesn't look at me funny when I hold up a bent coat hanger saying I need a lower radiator hose like this for my 1927 ford hot rod with a custom radiator and a 302!

Good luck...and I know you'll get the job. I just pity the poor "know it all " kid that you'll get stuck working with.
