Maybe there's hope

For the first time in 2 or 3 weeks, I realize I am actually smiling.

I submitted an online application to one of the national auto parts chains, who has just opened a store here in town. And within 4 hours, the store manager was on the phone, asking if I could come in to talk with him and the district supervisor on Friday morning. I think I finally found someone who recognized my years of parts experience was an asset. At least I hope I have. He described the job to me and explained why he felt I was the right person for the job. All I could do is agree with him.

For those so inclined, I covet your prayers. For everyone else, if you could just keep a good thought for me...

You're in my prayers, Mike. But then I knew a go-get-er like you would latch on to something real quick. Hope it pans out to your liking.

Certainly hope it works out for you Mike, but if this one doesn't, something more suited to you will.

Best of luck, Mike. There are a lot of good people in the same boat as you right now but things do seem to be coming back just slightly. Let us know how it goes.

GREAT, Mike! I hope that it all works out for you.

Good thoughts and prayers are coming your way Mike.

I'm praying for you too, Mike! Hope you get the job!

A parts store that a worker actually knows something!!

Lets see...an hour drive isn't too far a away to go to an auto parts store where I can get some real help...and maybe someone who doesn't look at me funny o_O when I hold up a bent coat hanger saying I need a lower radiator hose like this for my 1927 ford hot rod with a custom radiator and a 302!

Good luck...and I know you'll get the job. I just pity the poor "know it all " kid that you'll get stuck working with.

HAHAHA glad I was not the only one to pull that stunt I just got a funny look and a point to the "wall of hoses"

Good luck Mike, I hope you get it.

Come in to my store and we will go back to the hoses and look for the right one together. I have worked for a major chain for four years. I take a big dose of mind nummer every day before I go to work. Dwight
