Not sure if it'll work over this sort of distance Mike, but my thoughts go out to you as well. Just remember, "Age and treachery will over come youth and exuberance", all you gotta do is tell me man you are the man for his job and the Universe will take care of the rest - if you believe.

Good to hear your Auto parts stores over there are no different to the ones here in Oz. Our local 'chain' employs a lot of young ladies. Doesn't help while your asking for some part or another, but sure ........ No, hang on, doesn't help when your looking for the ellusive part and the Y.L. is hanging over your shoulder. Certainly helps the pain when you get to the checkout but.

Anyhow Mike, I guess come Friday you'll have good news for us all to share.

I appreciate the support, more than you know. I have really enjoyed being able to work from home, but I find I also miss interacting with other people. Doing the valve spring deal all those years meant I was dealing with customers all over the world and some of them had been around as long as I had. To suddenly not talk to all of those people, after 25 years, was a bit of culture shock. So the concept of being able to start working with people, rather than just code, is sounding mighty attractive to me.
