mounting orientation for tubular shocks

Hi,
Plugging along on my first T build (rebuild)... am assembling Speedway's dropped tube axle kit. All is well until I get to mounting the front shocks. My brain says that the shock body should be on the bottom as does Speedways frame assembly pix in their catalog. Their assembly manual for their T kit however shows the shock body on the top. From an interference standpoint, there's a lot more room between the radius rods and shock if the body is up. Is the shock (PRO shocks) designed to be mounted in either direction or must it be mounted a certain way?
Thanks,
olguy

I have seen them mounted both ways and it don't seem to make any difference. I personally prefer the body down, but whatever works.

A very shocking subject. I've really only seen them with the body part on the bottom. Although, as Francis says, it probably wouldn't make a difference as far as working is concerned.
