Wanting to buy a SBC 383 long block. Who can I get one from that will be the biggest bang for the buck?

There are tons of them out there. Something in the GM crate motor line will give you the best warranty for the money.

Check with Fliteline Engine Supply in Fort Smith or Little Rock. I'll bet they'll build you one and you can pick it up and save on shipping.

That 400 ft. lbs. of torque @ 2500 rpm will get you off the line in a hurry.

Yea.....I've heard good things about them.....when a co. does good and give a good quality product.....they need to be given business.....cause the next one down the pipe might not be such a good one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There's a lot of folksout there that don't build their own engines.....

And we as a hobby and sport need the place where members can get engines, other than at the local machine shops to keep that quality up..........
