After several invitations from LumenAl, I finally navigated the membership pages and logged in. Cecil CEEC Misner, here from Everett, Washington. There are several people on here I know. Of particular note is LumenAl. Al and his friend Dave, have put NUMOROUS hours on my T bucket getting the cowl ready to paint. Another T Bucket guy, (BumF) will squirt the car on Saturday and Sunday, the 10 & 11th of Jan.
About my car and me. I am 62 years old and retired from the Army. I am also retired from the Aerospace industry. My car is a CCR (Ted Brown) design built from their plans and data. I built the frame and all the chassis parts myself and had a couple weld shops finish the welding. The front end is a heavily modified 1934 Dodge with stock spindles and mid 70's GM mid size disc brakes. The rear is a Currie polished center section and axle tubes assembled by Dutchman Motorsports of Portland. Third member is a stock 79 Ford Bronco 9". It has 90's era Ford Explorer disc brakes redrilled hats to match the front. Body is the front half of a Spirit Industries grafted to an all wood body. The power is a 488 cu in BBC turning a TH400 automatic. I refer to the car as a 1924 Ford Depot Hack.
That's really about it. Al has posted some pics of it before and I will try to post more as time goes on.
Thanks for the neat forum and thanks for the invitation.
