Welcome, from someone who is a little "South-east" from you.

Well I am (not by much though)! Check a map!!!
Not all Canadians are "up North". ;)

Sounds like you have a nice start. Show us a picture.

Welcome Tom, from way down south of you. We are members of the same local though. :hooray: Project sounds great, gotta have pics though. :rulz: Anyhow, even without them, welcome again. :run:

Welcome to the forum Tom, post up some pictures of your build when you get a chance.

Welcome Tom, I grew up in Minnesota, next door, so I know the weather that part of the country brings, not really a whole lot of comfortable driving time, and there you have to keep moving, to stay away from the Mosquitoes... I think that is what I hated to most about that part of the country, but they are almost everywhere it seems... Have fun with the site and I hope you learn some new tricks... :hooray:

Welcome Tom and greetings from the sunny hills of Colorado.

As a kid I lived in Glidden, Wisconsin. I miss the green and colors of fall.

And, I miss the Friday night fish fry when we lived in Brookfield.

Get us some pictures of your project.

Lets see if this works

Welcome from southern Minnesota Tom. you've got a great start there. Good to see another steel "26-7 going together. Check with the webmaster. He has some great rates on advertising here. If you're ever headed down I35 stop off in Owatonna.

Ron

PS ... I have a driver's door that needs patchin.

Thanks and I was away from the project for a bit. I did find 2 doors with no rust that I see, Getting the body blasted next week, found a TH350 for the 5.3 engine and got my my manifold, carb and ignition to get the engine humming. Starting on the new frame Mon or Tues. Finishing the Car trailer to haul it back home later this month from Omaha at my brothers shop. He is working on a 37 Plymouth and a roadster.

Tom,

Welcome from California. I'm having a new short block built but my choice had it fit was a LS motor also. Nothing like a nice modern engine. Keep us posted on your progress and enjoy modern power.

Bob

Hi Toms26T,

I'm from Duluth but have been up here in Silver Bay for the last five years. About your Union, I've been a weldor for about 27 years and I've been on that train more times than I want to think about. That's why my project has taken 16 years since I started it. It's good to see someone else lives up here in the great white north. I can tell you one thing. I've rebuilt a number of auto transmissions, replaced a lot of parts on a lot of cars, but I've never learned anything like I have since I started building a car from scratch. You have to be an engineer, fabricator, electrician, painter and maybe even an upholsterer all rolled into one, it's a completely enjoyable learning experience. Good luck with your T and maybe we'll run into each other at a small car show sometime.
