Yes I had to look..................Great looking frame.................

Lots of time. Looking good. Thanks for pics. Hope to see you finish this car. It looks like it sits super low. It will have a real nice look to it. These things all take time & money.
Through the years, all of my extra money seemed to be gone into my cars. So when you're done, it will make you feel proud.

What I really like best is the engine and trans.LOL

Good to see you're back at it, Track.

I didn't mean to start any controversy over my comment about Track-T's engine. It is an inside joke between Jim and I, as he got his engine and trans from me. That is why there is an "LOL" after the post.

Totally dissappointed . I can't believe it has a SBC in it. :whisper:

Jay buddy,

As a Ford guy you must be accustomed to disappointment by now.

Just kidding with, no harm intended

Two of my pals are Ford guys. Three of'em since one has a 427 in a Mercedes. If I recall. it ran in the low 12's on a whiff and at 5800' in Denver
Another ownes a shop that specializes in Ford Products. He gets Ford diesels from other shops that can't trouble shoot very well.
He buys the vast majority the parts he uses from a local Ford Dealer.

Doug.....

yeah, I have a SBC.

Track T,

Very nice looking nudies.

I have to admit I would not be very comfrortable with the battery behind the rear cross member.
You are obviously further along on your project than I am and certainly have more car building experience than I.

My opinion is one should provide as much protection as practical for the for both the battery and the fuel tank.
I'm going to try to get my battery somewhere under the passenger seat to add a bit to the balance of my fat.... ah, never mind and to
it as far away from the gass as practical.

My assumption is very few rods are involved in accidents, however should I become (if I ever get the thing done) a target, I want the best chances I can put together.

After building a trunk I had little room left in other areas.
The body will be braced between the frame and body plus nerf bars.
From the crashes I've seen posted on other sites, If your hit hard, the battery is the last thing on my mind.
The gas tank is in the front part of the trunk.
