Old and new a couple of T's

We have a few old T's running around the area and they pop up at the cruises once in a while. I happened to get some pics of one of them. 1915 edition. We also have a 1911 around, but I never remember to get pics.

I've always loved the old speedsters. I've always wanted to try my hand at a more modern mechanicaled one. Here are the two speedster pics I have rotating on my desktop...

I like that concept. Old style with a few modern mechanical advantages is what I've been thinking. I have been doing some cad work along those lines of thinking. Just don't have the physical time now or in the foreseeable future. Get it completely designed then let someone else build it maybe.

I've seriosly been thinking of something like the white one with a 2.3 and auto trans. That's a beautiful car! Thanks for posting.

The reason I've kept those two pics on my desktop is for inspiration. I'm trying to build a lot of speedster influence into my build....kind of speedster meets Tweedy Pie...LOL

Wow! I love the white one! Oh crap, just when I thought I was finished with projects!

I said I was finished with vehicle projects around 25 years ago...never say never again.

That thing actually is T based....1917. There are a lot of variations on the T speedster. Here are 2 more of my favorites...

Here is a link to some photos I took a the Newport Hillclimb a few years ago. This is an annual event where vintage stock vehicles make a timed hill climb - its really a hoot. Its the first weekend in October every year in Newport, Indiana (its this weekend!). They do have a T-Speedster class and most of the pics in this album are of the T-speedsters:
