Out parts chasing this weekend...

...using my trusty parts chaser to get brake parts for my daily driver truck.

I'm ashamed to say, this weekend is the first I've had it out this year. Life, work, and weather getting in the way. It fired right up and after a quick dust and spray wax, I was on my way!

You're better than me, I'm still working on the interior. You sure have a nice looking car.

Yeah thats a sweet ride for sure. I dont know maybe its the color maybe, Nah but i sure hope mine is that nice !

I look for any excuse to use the bucket to chase parts or supplies. As long as it's small, clean and needs getting (a six pack falls in this category), the bucket is my means of transportation.
"Quick dust and spray wax" Wow what a nice looking ride!

I really like your exhaust! Did you build it or buy it?
I built them. My inspiration was the Hot Rod Mag Anniversary '27 built by Roy Brizio. I bought some flanges, cones from Speedway, and a bunch up u-bends straight pipe. There are auger mufflers in the straight pipe. Each side is made up of 13 components all cut, fit, ground, polished then ceramic coated. It took some doing, but I consider it one of the signature pieces on my ride. Thanks for the compliment.
Yea....I wanna see a greasy motor in the passenger seat! LOL
Probably not likely, but this is no trailer queen either. Its made 1 power tour, two t-bucket nats and several other long trips packed to the gills with stuff. I do try to keep the greasy stuff out of it! LOL!

Thanks! I forgot, I did clean the dirt/dust off the window. I'm try pretty hard to keep it covered in the dusty shop where I keep it. Oh, I think its seen it share of 6 packs -not open of course! :whistling:.

Thanks to all the other compliments. I forget how much fun it is to blast around in this... For those that are still in progress with theirs - get cracking --you are missing out!!

I don't put greasy parts in the passenger side seat either but I have carried the 5 gallon gas can for my mower along with the 2 gallon of mixed 2 cycle fuel for the edger, wacker and blower. I have also gone to Home Depot and picked up 60# bags of salt for the softener. Everything pretty much has to go in the passenger area because the trunk is pretty much loaded when you put in a six pack and a bathing suit. LOL

The purple '23 is coming slowly. We've been busy with other projects, but have bent up some 7/8" tubing for the radius rods. I'm building a jig to cut/weld them and have been taking lots of pics. I'll post a step-by step when we get them built.
