Trust everyone on the Forum is staying safe with the out of control pandemic raging. Just wanted to say thanks for all your entertaining posts over the last 12 months, I really enjoy coming on here to read what's going on with the different builds.

I've been busy myself from late October working on my Locost Clubman Sportscar so I can sell it, as it's been sitting for a long while in the corner of the shed. Went thru all the front suspension and shock mountings as I had had it all apart some time ago. Refurbished the brakes with new caliper and cylinder kits as the brake systems on little used cars deteriorate just sitting there. One M/Cyl needed resleeving with stainless and now I have working brakes again.

I cleaned out the cooling system, changed oil & filter, checked G/Box & Diff oil levels, and reconnected the ECU. (had it disconnected while welding on the front end) Drained the old fuel out and refilled with fresh and fired it up. Took it out for a couple of drives and then put it up for sale, it sold within a week (consider myself pretty lucky) a deposit is being paid this week.
We have put a deposit on a new Caravan (due in April) and bought a Mitsubishi Pajero (Montero) to tow it with, and we're looking forward to being Gray Nomads again while we can. We're yet to explore the western side of our country, so plenty to see.

I hope 2021 is kind to everyone and that you're able to get your projects completed and running. I look forward to coming on and seeing what everyone gets up to this year.

Does this mean you will be AWOL for a while? Sounds like a good plan you have. My wife is planning visiting your country if and when this virus is whipped.

No Mate, will still be coming in here to see what you guys are up to. (someone's gotta keep ya honest!) We won't be travelling for months at a time, our usual trick is to go away for 3-4 weeks and try to do it 4 or 5 times a year.

That is how I would do it unless I downsized a lot, like sell out and just become a vagabond... which is at times a tempting thought, or fantasy. Very difficult to be away for long periods. Hard on my broken old body too! We seldom travel but every time I do I am ready to get home. It’s nice to get away and explore, but hard to leave everything unattended, plus home is where I belong, lol. Enjoy while you have the chance! Everything will become a memory before you realize it.

G'Day Fletch, you have to have something to come back to Mate, otherwise you're up the well known creek without a paddle when you stop travelling. I always look forward to coming back to my workshop.
