Padding the upper lip of T-bucket

We did this lip with no sewing.
The part that seems to take a lot srubbing/use from getting in and out if ya got no working doors,is the top lip of cockpit,so glued on vinyl is not going to hold.
I designed a way to mount the pad so it can't move.
my son did not want any screws showing or snaps,plus did not want it to come over to out side of body sides ether;so here is how we did it in a tech link;
