panhard bar ?

On my '23 ''T'', it has a T. P. I .frame & body with a Vega steering box, it goes by a drag link to the passenger wheel [ behind the axle] then in front of axle a tie rod from passenger wheel to drivers wheel. It has friction shocks & drum breaks, On smooth paving it drives great , steers with 2 fingers, on a rough road not so good, .It has solid motor mounts , when you really get on it pulls one way ,let up on it , pulls the other way. Do you think maybe a pan head bar would help. Does somebody make A panhead bar kit for this? So the axle & frame are tied together. Or any other ideas ????
 
With cross steering you NEED a panhard bar! There is NO ifs ands or buts about it. Check the picture below to see how I did mine.

excellent pic, great location for the pan-hard bar.
 
would that location interfere with a spring behind location?

You can see the Panhard arm beneath the spring. Speedway may sell the arm assembly alone. FYI, I tried once driving without the Panhard and it was really scary.
 
The rear end moving accel load and decel can cause this also. Differential distribution to the axles can also make the car feel like it wants to hook or slice, depending upon whether you are accel or deceling. Be safe and make sure stuff is not moving around.
 
I would like to see more pictures of how a panhead bar is mounted when the spring is behind the axle....
