Picking front tires

This is for you new builders that are just starting.

These tires here are tires I would not pick .They look like a nice tread pattern but have a tendency to pick up rocks and trow them to chip paint or hit other cars.

Where tires with a tight tread pattern like these grip well but don't pick up rocks so easy.

Absolutely they are made so the tread runs on the road in a certain direction. If put on wrong they will also hydroplane real quick due to the water being pushed towards the center of tire.
Looking at this pic it is obvious which way it should be mounted. passenger side.

On yours look which way the water would flow when being pushed by tread towards middle of tire they just ned to be switched side to side.

I have seen people order white lettered directional tires and they where both for the same side of car. Yours is an easy fix.

Quick question, does it not hurt these new radials to reverse the direction that they run? I have always hear that they just switch stock car sorts from ft to rear and not change directions after running?? PS, Speaking of throwing rocks, my old slicks threw more rocks than and grooved tire I ever had, just the sticky compound that picked up the rocks I reckon, took them off and no more rocks (to speak of that is) ... But no fenders that is always a small problem...

Newer tires have no problem switching rotation direction. Rotating tires on front wheel drive they recommend crossing backs to front and fronts straight back..

THANKs putz i will swap them tomorrow
