I sorry to complain about this but I'm really frustrated. I lost a top of my old tailight and went to replace it with new crome ones. The old ones were heavy duty cast polished aluminum and I'm sure US made. The new ones I got from a well know hotrod parts dealer(not a vendor on here) were cheap sheetmetal Chinese junk. The difference between the old ones and the new ones was amazing. The tops and bottoms didn't even line up. They are the model t cowl/ tail lights They are about 9 in. high. I paid $100. a piece for the new ones so I thought they would be of equal quality! WRONG! I guess everything is about the bottom line and MAX profits now. I returned them. I will check ebay and swapmeets to see if I can find the part for the old one. I then decided to go with a Maltese cross tailight and ordered some from a big cycle parts mailorder place. Yup, you got it, one lens was cracked. Now 10 more days to process the return and have to send the whole light. Well I said just send me a new lens and I'll pay for it. $5.00 plus shipping. This country is in big trouble because people have learned to accept this kind of service and the quality of goods sucks! We need to bring back American made products.
