Frame is at the painters being preped and painted. AGONIZED over the color for 2 weeks hope I like it. Next goes the rear end then the body. Will have frame hopefully this weekend and will begin to run wiring, plumbing and setting in drivetrain. Going to install connectors
so after body is complete all that I will have to do is plug it up.Wood kit is from CCR fits like a glove with the exception of the metal riser in the body being 1 1/2" to tall but and easy fix.Covering voids on the sides in floor in the body and bed to make chases for wiring going to fiberglass them in this weekend.Wood kit going to upholster and hopefully he can get started. My plan is after the body is done in approximately 3-4 weeks the frame will be ready for it.Things have been going kind of slow since last post because of correcting some things and the disappointment of having a nice chrome steering column shortened by a machine shop and getting it back all scratched up with the key broke off in the ignition and the switch all jacked up. Looks like if the column can't be fixed I'll GULP!!! buy another this time the correct length!!!and forgo the machine shop!!!Funny I have yet to get a bill makes me believe they knew what they'd done. Oh well live and learn. Will post picture of painted frame this weekend.

I installed the connectors in mine. Can unplug and have the body off in about 15 minutes.

What brand of connectors did you use?
I just went down to the trailer supply store and got the all weather 6 pin connectors. Here is a picture of the underside.

Sorry to hear about your column and its mistreatment. Look forward to the pics of the paint

i really like that connector idea because as much as we say it is done we will always change something on the cars and that will make for easy removal:)
