Question for Ted

What size steering wheel would work best for these T-Buckets? 13", 13.5", 15" or 17" ???

I have a 14" one now but had a 15" earlier. As far as the ease of steering, I really noticed no difference but the 14" one allows a little more room where it is needed. I suggest that you make a cardboard mock up in various diameters and see what suits your needs best.

I think I would like the 13.5". I'll try what you said about cut outs.

Mine is 12" and it works fine. There is not a lot of room for a big wheel. With my laid back windshield there was maybe an inch of room between the windshield and the steering wheel.

13 1/2" is the OD of the wheel I use, I love that size myself...

I used a bit of garden hose connected to itself in a circle. Simple... start big and cut it down a bit by bit until it feels and looks right. Tried 3 different diameters till I got the one I liked, ended up with just under 14" but it is a vertical column

I must correct the above post. The wheel that I bought from Speedway was advertised as being 14". I just went to the garage and measured it and the OD is 13 1/4"!

Speedway sold my buddy a rear axle housing suppose to be 56" F to F. It WAS 51".!

That was probably the flange on the housing itself, and you thought it was from axle to axle, which would be correct for a 56" housing, 3 inches per side wider... Yes?
