Radiator Shell Attachment

I sware I have seen a post about this before, but searching I cannot find it...how did everyone attach their fiberglass radiator shell to the radiator? I assume everyone attached it directly to the radiator?!? That was my plan. It will bolt down in the same place the radiator bolts down, but I would assume it also needs to attach in one or two other places. Pics please!! Thanks!

Mine is attached to the frame only.

I have a mustang radiator that requires removing shell to add water if needed, so i know im bolting through the side of shell . Plus i cut off one side too much and had to learn how to refiberglass the darn thing on back on so i can retrim it. Oh the joys of getting in a hurry.

I used 1" angle 4" long welded to a piece of hand break bent piece of steel 2" wide that would fit the flanges of the radiator and used pal nuts ? to bolt the radiator to them. Looks like an upside down T. Two bolts hold the 4" piece to the inside of the frame, angle as needed. Also put two bolts through the tops of the 4" angle and nuts with washers on top and mounted the grill shell to it with washers acorn nuts to finish it off. You will not need radiator supports with this setup.
