SBC Headers.. large primary tubes

Looking for a set of standard style bucket headers that has 1.75-1.875” primary tube size for a small block Chevy. Stahl pattern ok.. everything I see is the small 1 5/8” tube size. I can fab up a set but hoping to find something off the shelf to save time and trouble of doing so.

Hi

As a few of you out there have mentioned about the lack of posts in the technical section I thought I would cover the making of my 8 pipe headers. I am writing this in a way that someone who has never done something like this is going to be able to follow, so please do not take offensive if it seems like I am trying to teach my Granny to suck eggs. I am also sure that my methods may not be the way you do things so please feel free to add any constructive comments that may help someone who is thinking of tackling something like this for the first time.

How about using a company to build your headers from a mock-up that you put together. That's what I did. They sent me kit with a flange with stubs, some collectors ( I was building a Try-Y) and PVC to build with.

GM spends millions of $$ on exhaust-sound research, and puts a lot of engineering know-how into the design of exhaust systems, especially for 'performance' vehicles. I'm looking forward to the systems you guys come up with.

Well since you made the above statement, I'm guessing you wanted to know more ...... RIGHT ???

This will be a build thread, but it won't be about a TBucket. They will be mostly about performance,
but looks will certainly be in my thoughts as I come up with their shape. Also I'm trying to get them
tucked in close, so the wife does not...
