scale models

Hello all. In the past I have enjoyed building scale models. With the cost of building a 1:1 there won't be much money to play with. But I do plan on building another scale model of what I want to build the 1:1 as. Just to get a better feel of its character. Bright to me a question though. Do any of you build scale models. Love to know. Thanks

I did when I was younger but my eyes don't work good enough and my fingers are way to fat now! LOL
