Shock length

How long is the standard rear shock on these cars? I know it is a vague question but my car rides like a tank. We don't have many pot holes here in Louisiana but we do have a lot of uneven and rippled road surfaces that seem to hit my car pretty hard. I am wondering how I can soften the ride up a bit so it isn't so harsh. That is what got me thinking about a longer shock with more travel and maybe a little softer spring. I have no idea what kind of coil overs come on a TP car but that is what I have. I know the radial helped a bit and so did the front hyd shocks but I am still trying to make this car a lot more road friendly. Any ideas or suggestions?

Pictures help a ton, both front and rear, side, front, rear, and bottom if possible... otherwise, think the nutcracker affect... The farther forward you move the rear springs the softer the ride, the shocks can be used to stop the up travel, but not the down travel, as that will kill the shock and usually the mounting bracket, as they are usually not made to hold all the weight of the car, the other way it is only the rear end and wheels and tires... as far as front spring goes, make it as long as to what you can fit in that area, and move the tube shocks back a tad... but. like I said, pics work wonders for other folks to see and figure out what needs to be changed, but that is how you change it...

Total Shocks were All American with 160# springs.I being small would go to the 125-135# springs.Mine in the rear rides like a buckboard.
