Shock mount/headlight mount

Wow! Those look like the ones I got from Ron. They work great. It's good to see Rons stuff getting exposer.

I did a little cropping on the pic so you could see it better but I think this is the one rick is talking about.A little different than Rons.

Hmmm... You, sir, are correct. Now, as I look at it, I also see that I may be able to mount my shocks the same way, if I ever needed to. I'm going to be having Ron make me some stouter radius rods soon and that setup you'd enable me to mount the lower section of the shock to a shackle extension.May have to drill another hole for the top mount, but I'll take a look at my setup later and see if it would work if it had to.

Like Rick said, they work great and having hydralics shocks is a world of difference.

Fred: Please tell those guys that are so confused about friction shocks that hyd. shocks are the way to go.

While I did seem to get my friction shocks to work, the hyd's are by far better. Like night and day. Like comparing apples to oranges. Like white compared to black. Like round V/S square. Like stone compared to a feather. Like.... well you get the point.:welxome:

Oh, I looked at mine and won't be able to do what I thought I could. No worries. I'll leave it like it is. It works great. It's fun to drive, see a bump, steer for it, hit it and watch the shock move and barely feel it in the car. Highly recommended.

The only downside to those mounts is I just finished rewiring my headlights and the wiring would be too short if I moved them that far ahead. LOL. Would you move the radiator ahead to match as well?
