Speedometer Delete for 350 trans?

On my bucket I'm going with an autometer speedometer with the GPS input so I won't need to mess with cables gears and pulse generaters. That said I would like to keep the road debris out of the trans. Right now I just got a threaded boss for the cable just hanging there. I would like to know if anyone makes a screw on cover for it or a block off plate that attaches to the trans via that bolt behind the speedometer cable. I looked at the trans sites and can't find anything. If worse comes to worse I can make something. I was wondering if anyone else has a good idea.

I use the cap off of an oil bottle or trans fluid bottle--plastic.

Thanks guys. I checked the threads and they are 7/8-18. I kinda like the bottle cap idea so I'm going to make the part out of delrin.

Used black delrin and knurled the end. Had a hard time holding it in the lathe when I knurled it.

I've seen some remove the drive gear portion completely, then drive a frost plug of the correct diameter into the hole in the trans.
