I've used many bug steering boxes, but they've always been on bugs.

LumenAl has a VW box on his hotrod, but I can't find any pics right now to show how it was mounted.

Should work, just figuring out how to mount it is the tricky part.

You are right there T-odd making a mounting plate, and then finding a pitman arm that that will work, also some way to hook up the steering column. I am sure it would have metric spines making it even harder to work with.

There are times that trying to use a odd steering box ends up costing more to make it work then cost of getting one that parts are EZ to get for.

True enough. i just saw it online and thought someone might be interested. I'm always looking for less costly alternatives.I am using '40 Ford front suspension on my car (including steering box).
