what would cause a light green tint on a spark plug?
I don't use fuel additives,just pump gas.
It is in a 96 grand cherokee 6 cyl.

What is actually green, the electrode, or the insulator?

If the insulator is tinged green and you are not using any fuel system cleaners or other fuel additives, then you may be having some antifreeze getting into the chamber. Not good.

If the electrode is tinged green, you might want to drop down a heat range on your plug selection.

If you have any photos, that will help.

Since you told me in Ocala that the radiator in the Jeep took a dump, my guess is anti freeze. I hope this ain't the case, the engine blew a head gasket, or worse cracked a head then, blew the radiator?

oil in radiator came from tranny cooling line in the rad. tank. found that out AFTER I changed the head gasket. thats when I found the green tint. head gasket had no damage when I pulled it.
insulator is green on all plugs.
