Bolts aren't always so bad, it is generally the obscure Jesus clips (as in, Jesus, where did that thing go) that confound me.

I usually look in the farthest point in my shop. Its the things that I put in a "special place" that get me.
One of these days I will find everything I have lost in the past years.

Actually I have found the best way to find most anything lost is to go buy a replacement. The original usually show up right after installing the new part.

I keep telling myself they are making all that stuff smaller. Surely it can't be my eyes and fumbling fingers that are causing the problems.

When I can't find something in the garage either on the floor or wherever, Nan, my wife. She'll ask for a description of what I've been fussing and fuming trying to find. She'll then look around, for a VERY short usually, and by God she'll come up with it and ask, "is this what you're looking for?" I don't know how she does it but there must be something said for woman's intuition.
