Towing a trailer?

Well, maybe 1/2 of what your T weights if your not going far and/of fast....

OK just found that Curt also makes one of those with a 2" opening. Found it for $53 so far.
I could just get one of them and bolt it to the frame. I'm thinking if its not lower then the lic. plate. Then the plate could hide it. Just put one of these in
when I need to tow.

Also, you can get the same thing from Tractor Supply cheaper, OR, adjustable one for the same price as that one....

If I'm going to be here in Lincoln for awhile. Then I wouldn't mind a small trailer for my camping supplies and to use for the next bash.

Harbor Freight has a nice small one, its a 4x5, has the small wheels. As you were told, they heat up. If you get the small wheeled ones, get a set of bearing buddies for your wheels. Trailer wheel bearings are the most under-maintained items on the face of the planet....

its real easy to add 14" or 15" wheels to the small trailers. You can keep the leaf springs on the trailer presently. Northern has stub axles for about $16 each, 5 lug 4 1/2" bolt circle hubs for about $22 each. Cut some 2"x 1/4" wall sq tubing to the length you need and make a new axle. The stub axles come in 1 1/4" round for pipe or 1 1/2" square the fit inside the 2" sq tubing. Thats what I did to the small trailer I bought used.

Couple things. First, make good and sure the hitch on your bucket will not come apart or detached!

Second, I had one of those little HF trailers for years that I pulled behind the t. When I bought the kit, I got it with 12" tires too. I replaced all the metric hardware with SS, and built an oak deck and side rails for it. One big caution with HF trailers - bearings and seals can be hard to come by. Take real good care of them.
