My sister ask me to help her move yesterday and while i was their she ask me if i was into models. I told her i have put a few togeather but it had been a while. She told me the EX loved them and had quite a few in a closet in the back room. Quite a few doesnt touch it I hauled all i could in my F150 to my soninlaws house. Most are umopened . If their is a model you cant find let me know and i will look in the pile. I gave them to my soninlaw and my daughter to sell or what ever.

Still just a kid at heart!! I too would like some of those for they were my start into streetrodding/hotrodding,as well as going to the local drag strip. My first two were the Hemi Under Glass and the Lil Red Truck I think it's name was. Ford Econoline pickup with the engine behind the cab. Both wheelstanders.

That would likely have been Bill 'Maverick' Golden's Li'l Red Wagon, an A100 Dodge truck.
Mike you are correct on the lil red wagon and yes it was one of the unopened models in the bunch. I remember it very well because when they opened the stars and stripes dragway in Liberal Kansas in about 1970 i was there and so was the wleel stander Lil red wagon very cool for a boy 13 years old. I have seen the Hemi under glass on TV but not in person. Also at the dragway the next year i think was don the snake and the mongoose they were the featured racers with the likes of don garlets with his NEW rear engine dragster.

Rick i gave everyone of them to my soninlaw but i can ask him i think he is planning on selling them.

What a find. I used to love those Revell models, they were very detailed....the Stone, Woods and Cook Willys Gasser was my favorite.

My bad, have been getting CRS lately and just don't seem to GAS much anymore. Lately life just sucks, and it seems every time I turn around, someone throws another curve ball at me and hits me square in the forehead.

Its 1/8 scale Monogram T. Did some work on it like the blower (in S Steel). cowl light and gas tank in brass, some paint a and a few extras. Got a full color page in Custom car magazine in late 81. They took to the fun and wrote a whole page around this picture pretending it was a real car. One person wrote in to the next months issue quoting that 'Barbie and he would love a car like that! Signed Ken'.
Go figure it fooled most of the readers.
