Last Friday morning I had carpal tunnel surgery, wife picked me up at the hospital, drove down to Grand Forks ND and we spent the evening in the stands at the World of Outlaws event. I already had the tickets so it was either sit at home incapacitated or at the speedway incapacitated. Amazing how much pain can be controlled by Tylenol 3's and a few Sam Adams..lol. Without question, Outlaws is the wildest racing I've ever seen

Yup, the consultation, surgery and followup is 100% covered. It was about a 3 month wait which for me wasn't an issue because I lived with this for 2 years before seeing a doc. It actually worked out good because I had 3 trigger fingers on my right hand done in Feb, the carpal was just done on my left just as the right hand got in good working order. My right hand carpal is scheduled for Oct but I may postpone it depending on how the left heals. The schedule carpals about 6 months apart due to the length of recovery. I'm sure getting my tax dollar's worth out of the system this year.
